Reason to Celebrate

Tonight we attended a giant Celebration of sorts. Every year thousands of people and millions of dollars roll in to shelbyville tn. We were among the many to attend and join in the fun. In the same way Olympians train for the big event so do these horse folks. Mom and Tim got tickets through a friend and invited us to attend. Myself, Sam ,Tara , cam Sarah , and tim were right up front where the slobber and poopie fly free. Mom stayed at the hotel and took allie swiming The night was very toasty but it was very interesting just to see all the sights both on the track and off.

As at every event we attend we tried out a variety of food. It was all very yummy. Much the same as a UT football game eating is a chalenge in the tight spots.

Even though the horses were cool, the Arena was awesome, the food was great there is no doubt what the most memorable moment was! The moment to be talked about for years to come happened right near the end of our stay.

As we were watching the show and polishing off some ice cream we decided to spread out a little into the booth beside us since those folks had gone home. Well this turned out to be a GREAT decision! We heard what sounded like a coke spill but as we turned we saw a teenage girl hurling into our little booth. She vomited not once but like four times. Luckily the splatter was minimal. Sam, tara and cam took the brunt of the splash.Had we not spread out things would have been ugly!!! If you have never had the joy of smelling hot sweaty people, horse crap and vomit all in one change of the breeze then you have never lived. The quote of the night came while everyone had gone to clean up. A worker came up to me and said "I'm going to ease behind you, a girl got sick behind you. I am going to clean up a little. " I looked at her like what?a girl got sick? Who knew? Ha ha. Congrats to the high school club that volunteered to clean the stadium tonight ha ha.
