New Beginnings

This week has brought some new faces to the heady home. The first of which are 5 brand new kitty's. Bear (thats what allie named the momma cat) delivered her 5 new kittys late this week. So far she and babys are doing very good. We will be seeking homes for these guys when they get old enough. Teter Tots has already requested the black one you see in the picture. Fortunetly BJ has agreed to take any that we can't find a home for. Thanks BJ.

In other news. The new mac finally arrived on sight at our house on Thursday night. Sam and I went to pick her up at the Green Hills store in Nashville. I have to say that I was very skeptical after all my bad dealings lately. I just new we would get it home and it would explode or something. Once i realized it was not going to go up in smoke i began to transfer gigs of files and to explore Leopard. I must say the new Mac OS is pretty slick. There are a couple things i'm really glad they did. Just one or two that i don't like so far too (curse you transparent menu bar). Over all i think Leopard is a good upgrade. One feature that I have been playing with that is neat is Coverflow. A really neat way to see a glimpse of the file your looking at. I didn't really realize how much i liked it till i sat down at this laptop running Tiger and didn't have it. The thing i really like is that if you know how to work Tiger, then you know how to work Leopard. And going back and forth in between is not painful. Not sure that is necessarily true when going from XP to vista. Below you'll see a picture of our new mac posing with the faithful macbook. The mac mini was in the other room and chose not to be in the family portrait.

P.S. since bj actually didn't agree to take our extra kittys, and is in fact very much against them coming to his house, I at least put his blog up on the screen during the mac family portrait to try and make things right. ha ha

Cute little critters aren't they. You could always check with Papa Bruce to see if he and Martha want another kitten (ha).

Papa seems like the type of man who could take care of a cat infestation. I say give them all to him. Nice touch on the blog photos. Exposure to the web through the Heady blog is about like making google's first page. Good luck on the el gatos.
