Well cam and I have been across the country today. Its pretty odd to think about, back in the old west days this trip would have taken months. We did it in a few hours. Except for the "your a fugutive" beginning of the trip (read below) the trip was pretty smooth. I must say i really like the new South West boarding procedures. The flight from Nashville to Las Vegas was about 3 hours 45 mins. It seemed longer... but went pretty well. The mac did really good and passed the time with showing us all of "3:10 to Yuma" and most of "Monsters Inc" before we had to pack it up to land. We had our little south west "snack box" in place of popcorn. We had about an hour layover in Vegas. Cam and I both threw about 3 bucks into the slots, i think they were broken since half the time the lines didn't even land on a symbol. None the less it was fun, and there were slots about ever 2 feet. One for every person in the airport i think. We took a short stop at Sabaro's for some pizza pie and off we went to the terminal. We walked up as the A's were boarding. We sat down, and in about two blinks of an eye we were in LA. When they gave us our two teaspoons of Dr. Pepper the Pilot came on and said we are starting our decent to LA. After we found a map and oriented ourselves we headed out to the "hotel motel" shuttle area to wait for our bus. It only comes every hour, and we had to wait about 35 mins. We got tickled a few times as we saw the nicer hotel shuttles coming by every two seconds. After a while we finally flagged down our man and we were off the races... literally. We think this was training grounds for nascar. We are flipping a coin to see who has to drive with all these crazy people tomorrow when we go sight seeing. We have Sally garmen on hand to guide us amongst all the crazy poeple. Check back soon as we will try and keep you up to date on our happenings here. Cam has his nikon here so we will get some pics posted too. Not sure which flickr account it will be on but we will let you know. p.s. the guy at the front desk at the ask if we were twins. I guess i don't see that, but we look close enough for them to know we are brothers.
