Everyone Needs a Hobby

I think since the beginning of time people have been facinated by flight. And i'm pretty sure that every young boy at one point has longed for a remote control airplane. Cameron and I came close one time to having one, but after the Don split his fingers open a few times trying to start the motor it was sent back, never having flown it's first (and potentially last) mission. Over the past couple of weeks i've had more fun and enjoyment from a $29 dollar airplane then i could have imagined. While sam and i were in knoxville i found this little RC airplane at target. Since then we have been flying it at church and outside if it isn't too windy. This plane has seems to have magical powers. The first of which is the ablity to fly. To look at it you wouldn't think it would ever leave the ground. The other i have found is that it makes both children and grown people alike come and watch in amusement as it circles swoops and crashes. It seems to have the ability to magically stop the wheels of life, pick you up from the place where you are and transport you to another land for a few moments. In that place we are no longer doctors, ministers, or computer nerds but are all little kids again standing with our mouths open wide as we giggle and awe over the mystery of flight. I guess this feeling can comes from different places, but there is not doubt in my mind everyone should have a hobby like that to get them away from the every day hustle and bustle even if it's only for a few minutes.
