I just like this pic, allie is actually counting but it looks like she's giving the looser symbol, ha ha.
Well another year has come and gone. This thursday I will find myself blowing out a another candle. Alot has happened since last years candle blowing event. No doubt the biggest thing that happened this past year was us packing up and moving to town. Pretty much weekly someone asks the question "how do you like living in town?, i bet you miss living out in the country in your old house don't you?" Well on the same token i can say almost daily the thought crosses my mind, wow it is nice living in town. For instance, today i had to the chance to stop by the house for lunch on my way back from cookeville. Ate alittle lunch, saw both the girls and even took a short spin in the lazy chair. No doubt it is much more convienant living here for both me and sam. We are looking forward to this summer as we will open up the heady pool and be ready for visitors, hopefully we will be able to build the screened in back porch we've been talking about too. Tonight we drove around town briefly after a short trip to the sonic and just looked at houses for old times sake since that is what we used to spend much of our time doing. it was apparent that God had a plan for us. Tonight as we traveled the common house looking trail it was apparent that God had closed many doors on us during our house looking days so that we would be able to get the house we are living in now. Living in town, in the house that has such a rich history for us. the place of our first appartment when we got married. the place where i grew up. It's where cameron and i developed our weird sense of humor, and where i got to know and love my dad. now hopefully this same house will see that same weird humor go on, and allie can grow up to do the same with her dad. For now i will say thanks for reading our blog and i look forward to another year of posts, alittle older and hopefully alittle wiser.
