Well as i write this post my eyes can see 4 monitors each of which display old computers laboring away at windows updates, defrag's, and network transfer's. One key stroke makes me want to cry, the next makes me want to track down the 'FBC Bandits' and strangle them. Many hours, and many dollars have gone into making the FBC office technology what it was up until last friday. Then someone who in this blog shall remain nameless, decided they needed our equipment more than we did. Now we are faced with the daunting task of reassembling financial data, membership info, freecell high scores, and the sanity we once had not so long ago. To accomplish this a few retired fallen PC's have been patched, band-aided and prayed over to accomplish this task. We are thankful for what working backups we have, but even still the task ahead is great, the road is long, funds are low, angers high... Well soldiers are making beeping sounds requesting my guidance as to where they need to report so for now i shall go.
