A Spencerian Light Show

Tonight a small clan of sparta faithful jumped into RV2 in order to find out if the rumors about the Spencer fireworks were true or just a bunch of hype. Early in the week i heard murmurs about how great the Spencer fireworks are each year. First off i didn't even know they had a show, much less that it was famous. Doing it on the 3rd does fit the spencer persona. As we arrived on the scene one thing was obvious, every living creature in spencer was there. As we tried to find a spot, a Bignate like moment happened. "The force" is apparently not in use by Bignate right now so it jumped on us and led us to a little parking spot. Just beside it was a mowed spot in a field with no one in it. We proceeded to park our lawn chairs and wait for the show. Unsure of the exact spot in the sky where the fireworks would show up, we waited anxiously. We were surprised when we found we were in the perfect spot. We were by ourselves basically, on a little hill in perfect view of the show. The show lasted about 25 mins and was surprisingly good. We are anxious to watch the sparta show tomorrow and see how it compares. Below are some of the highlights. Enjoy

Great show, Rhino! Hats off to the greater Spencer area chamber of commerce, or whoever put it on.

Check out our blogpage for PC's finale of fireworks on 7/4.

Enjoyed the Powell's visiting this past week. I assume they made it back to Sparta safe.
Blessings,
The Pruietts
