Allies Birthday

It is hard to believe that four years have zipped by, but here we are. The past few days have been building up to Allie's Birthday. She has been really excited about it, and talking about it for a few weeks now! The birthday activities began last thursday with a surprise visit from the kings. well surprise to allie, everyone else knew. The kings all hid downstairs and then we brought allie down and they surprised her. She was most happy to see emma. All the king crew stayed at our house until sunday. The girls did lots of playing with princess stuff while most everyone else played with the Wii. Thanks to the millers for letting us borrow it! Pretty neat gaming system. We logged a few hours on it during the stay.

Sunday night found us at Mom's house for a birthday party. There was lots of good food, and a ton of presents. Not sure how allie go so much neat stuff, but it seemed more like Christmas! Today is Allie's actual birthday, so she was met this morning with lots of helium balloons. She loves balloons so we put them all up and down the hall for her to see when she got up. After she blew out the candles in the mornings cinnamon roll we were off to the water park. This is the 2nd year in a row we have gone to the Gilly water park in McMinnville for Al's birthday. I must say it's a pretty nice place. The pool is huge. It has 3 big slides, a couple of diving boards, a set of lanes for swimming competitions, and best of all for kids a big area where the pool slopes in really gently where you can walk in and out. We have put together a small highlight video of todays activities. You can see for yourself the pool. too bad sparta doesn't have a pool like this. Tonight we will top off the Birthday Celebration with a trip to Appplebee's after the church softball game.
