A bad way to start off '08

Well we have had a small set back already in 2008. No its not the fact that it's supposed to be 7 degrees tonight. Although it feels much colder than that in my heart. Our iMac who has served us faithfully since Oct of 2005 is on life support as we speak. She has worked and worked for us. Pictures, videos, emails, chats, you name it. She's never once asked why or when are we done. I cant even count the number of times i've went to rest in my warm bed and left her to render videos and such. My theory is the power supply, but i have called in experts on this one. I have made an appointment at the Genius Bar tomorrow morning in Knoxville for 10:15 to get her looked at. I have read there were a few problems with power supplys that could possible get it paid for. My luck will mean it wont be but if they can tell me that is what it is then if they are too high then i can replace it myself. But since i don't have iMac parts laying around to test with then i need their professional opinion. I'll let you know tomorrow how things turn out. Maybe i'll blog from the apple store while they work on it, who knows. But stay tuned and think good mac thoughts for our little mac, he would do the same for you!
