We are home! Well on Nate and Kara's home. We had a great day today. we had lots of snow adventures. We took a trip out of missouri about 15 miles to the Cabellas store to see all of the cool stuff they had available. They have tons of stuff animals all over the place. It's like being on safari. Here is one of the crazy stuff animal scene's they had setup. We also took the opportunity to get a free santa pic with the girls in front of some giant elephants. Pretty wild.
After a jaunt through the store we took a look outside and decided that it was time to hit the road. Things were starting to look pretty rough outside. A small windshield wiper problem led us to Target for some washer fluid and then we were back on the road. It was a winter wonderland outside. The roads were pretty slick and the visiblity was pretty rough. RV2 made it home though. Her new tires did us good. Here is a good pic to let you see just how much snow came down. Just so you know there was no snow on the ground when we left on Friday. So there was alot that came down over night. I was glad to take the opporunity to help Nate shovel the driveway. It was really my first experience shoveling snow. Usually in sparta its gone the next morning. if your interested you can see the short video from my phone below. It was pretty deep but still very powdery. Also below i'll share a picture that got us in alittle bit of trouble. Nate and I wanted a pic of the Base in the snow, but hte security forces dudes didn't like it too much and gave us a verbal "we advise against that sir" Please no more sheesh. But it was worth the picture.
Here is Mr. Plow... thats right Mr. Plow
