Missouri Trip - Chapter 2

Greetings readers! We finally made it to Bignate and Kara's house today. We got up this morning and packed up all of our goodies and hit the road. It was prob 3-4 hours worth of travel time when it was all said and done. We grabbed a bite to eat at Mcdonalds, and then headed on down the road. When we got there Captain Johnson came to sponsor us onto the base. Its a very cool experience if you've never done it before. Nate had to head back work so that left us time to get settled into their house. We had enough time to move some stuff around between bags for our trip at night.

Tonight after nate and kara got off work we packed up and and headed to Kansas City. They have all of the city decorated in lights as you can see from two of the pics we took. We stopped in Panera Bread for supper and then took a strole out on the city looking at all the lights. It was very nice, even though it was very chilly outside. We got a chance to stop in and warm up in guess where? none other than the Apple store. As we warmed up we got a chance to play with Leopard, and look at the iPhones. At this point the girls were getting sleepy so we headed to the hotel. Allie zonked out in about 2 mins, abby went down quickly too. Now we are just chilling out in Nate and Karas room chatting about all the happenings in the world. The weather says there is a "heavy snow warning" for tonight. We are in high hopes of waking to a winter wonderland tomorrow. If it happens you'll read it here.
