Waiting Room UPDATE...

Well we just got home, it's 12:07... the day of "The Happening" have mercy!! Any who. Emma Griffth (no middle name yet) was born at 9:44 pm. There was lots of chatting in the waiting room from sisters, parents and grandparents until the little nurse came... then WHOOOSH. It was me and abby left there. All the others were gone to see the new bundle of life. Emma is a few weeks early, but weighs 5lb 1oz, and is 19 inches long. She is a very tiny little girl. She is doing great! Carrie will hopefully remember the birth. She was very in and out with all of the drugs. When we left at 11 no one had been allowed in to see her yet, including her husband. We had to head home to get ab's in her own bed instead of dads aching arms. The staff there said that jonathan should be able to see her in about 30 mins. We look forward to tomorrow, to hear how she is doing. She has had a rough day, and will have several days of recovery from the surgery... oh yeah there is a little one that will need her as well. So long sleep hello parenthood. No word yet on when they all get to go home. To early to tell for that. Well i'm off to bed so that i can get up early tomorrow and start the marathon that is "The Happening".
