Each year in the spring a journey begins. Me, the red mule and my faithful mower start the weekly journey together. This journey includes 3 stops a week and hours of iPod time. You guessed it yard mowing season. It's always fun to get started in the spring, to be in the out doors.. for the weather to be warming up, to see and smell all of creation coming to life. But, there comes a time each year where the non stop cycle of mowing each week wears you down and a trigger flips in your head and you tell yourself "I'm really tired of doing this" That moment happened for me today as i was mowing the Hutchings Cemetery. I am at the stage now where the dust and and dirt are terrible and I can also think of other things i could be doing with my time after work. Maybe fall will slip in soon and the mowing cycle will end for a year and then start a fresh all again in the spring.

Rhino,
I don't see what the problem is, it looks like Abbie is doing all of the work anyway!!
The date may be Aug. 2007, but that is my beautiful granddaughter Allie, last year, isn't it. Doesn't matter she is still precious.
2 years ago...she was a year old there. times change so fast.
