VBS... come and gone

Well it's about 11:00 pm on friday and i'm sure all across white co FBC VBS'ers are tucked away in their beds resting their bones from a long week. It was a really good week. You can check out pics of the week on the fbc site. along with some video action. I'm glad to have a short break from video editing. Although the videos turned out really cool. coming home from VBS to do a couple hours of video work gets tiring by the end of the week. All and all it was a great week and everything went off without a hitch. Give us about a week and we will all be ready to plan for next years big adventure.

Another crazy happening this week was the realization that mentos and diet coke make an incredible rocket. We saw some of the videos on the web and decided to create our own. After vbs we took to the parking lot with the groceries and put the two items to the test. to our surpise they really are quiet explosive. we got one 2 liter to launch up really high. i hope to have the video done soon so i can post it on the web for all to see. i can only chuckle when i think about that first poor dude that popped in a couple mentos and chugged down some diet coke. i can only imagine what happened to him after seeing what it reaction it produces.
