Snakes, airplanes, and Verizon

Seems that the wind has been blowing constantly here in sparta for two weeks. Normally i wouldn't be against such things but the red baren has been grounded ever since. I've tried to take the plane out a couple of times but each time i do gail force winds break out and i pack up and head home. Soon perhaps the winds will calm enough to fly.

Last week i had the pleasure of taking a walk with Timbo, BJ and Bignate. We were standing on the walking bridge down town and noticed a snake swimming across the river. Naturally like grown up adults we started throwing rocks at it. Moments later we saw another.. then another.. then another. In about 30 mins we saw a total of about 6 snakes. The debate is still going on what type of snakes they were, but they were very fast and had lots of stripes on their back. It was a fun time. Soon we will be returning to the scene with more ammo to try and take out one of these critters!! perhaps we can get our local Ag Agent to ID it to tell us what kind of reptile our river is crawling with.

Also wanted to give a quick shout out to Martha and Mitch at Verizon in cookeville. Cammo and i went there on saturday to solve a massive phone issue. 1.5 hours later and lots of verizon advanced calculus we came to a solution that was pleasing to all and saved 15 bucks per month. Cammo has a shiney new phone that has me drueling. Maybe one day i will be so lucky to own one myself. It has all the power of the internet at your finger tips. Pretty awesome pda, phone, anything you want it to be device.
