The Shot Heard Round the World

Well today was a sad day in the history of the earth. I know it's crazy to be saddened by the death of a person you never met, but none the less a part of my heart hurt today when i learned that Don Knotts passed away. Barney, as he will always be in my mind brought us so many great moments. Some how that show has marked our times. Both young and old alike are drawn to it. Even after countless times of watching the same episodes over and over again i'm still drawn to it. I guess the good news is as long as their are reruns and DVD players we will have those timeless shows to entertain us...

Hello friends! Much like my friend: i also was in shock when i heard the news of the great one passing. My only regret is that i was the one that broke my little brothers heart by telling him. I thought it was only fitting that Andy Griffith was at his bed side holding his hand when he passed away. Best friends on the big screen 50 years ago and in real life so many years down the road. Thats pretty cool in this day of big stars and ego's to have a true friendship that stands the test of time. Well i guess i should ready myself for the next big day when Andy....no...i can't say it... no not now...he will live for ever right? well i gotta go....i'm getting to emotional (cam exits the cyber stage as tears are running down his face)
