Holy Cow! A year has zipped by right in front of my eyes. Seems like only yesterday we were welcoming Allie into the world. Now she is getting ready to enjoy her 2nd Christmas. Needless to say the Heady home is filled with the excitement that comes with this time of year. Last night tim, daniel and myself went out and picked out Christmas trees. There is something special about having a little person in the house at Christmas time. A child like curiosity is infectious and makes the season even that more enjoyable. As I anxiously wait for this Christmas I can't help but reflect back on the Christmas's of years past. How blessed we are to have family and friends. Between cameron and myself there are enough crazy holiday traditions to take up 20 blogs. My entire life has seen myself and my brother spending the night at my grandparents house for Christmas eve. What a special time that has been. We are so thankful for everyone’s health and that we can do that again this year. This year should be especially good. The hardest part about that tradition was leaving home and seeing our dad left to spend the night alone on Christmas eve. I'm so thankful that this year that tradition will end as he and Judy spend their first Christmas together as a married folk. I guess more Christmas tradition blogs will follow in the next few weeks....
As we attempt to slow down in the hustle and bustle of Christmas time to stop and enjoy what God has blessed us with we pray that you and your family are able to do the same.
